Under the update, SNAP recipients in the abiding states will face restrictions on food and drinks they can purchase using their Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards in grocery stores.
Distributed through waivers from the Department of Agriculture, many sodas and candies will be blocked, although each state has their own individual list of other items that cannot be bought using SNAP.
